I'm a huge coffee fan and Bean Around the World really impressed me with their fresh and smooth coffee. The cafe has a cozy vibe with colorful chairs outside, and the staff are super friendly. I especially love how they created a special blend to support the White Rock Pier restoration - it's awesome when local businesses give back.

As a local resident I've been to this location a number of times and enjoyed a coffee on each visit. On 2 recent visits I bought cold drinks instead and when I was finished I searched unsuccessfully for a recycle receptacle to deposit the cans. When I asked the server where the recycle bin was, she said "just throw it in the garbage". This comment was shocking to me and at least 2 other customers. We have excellent recycling facilities in SS/WR community so no excuse for not doing it.
So that's "my beef", but "my bouquet" is to congratulate you for utilizing biodegradable coffee bags.
