Working nearby for about a decade, I never ventured in because it seemed like a touristy spot, but after hearing a coworker's praise and reading about their chicken fried steak, I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere felt like a blend of classic diners and cozy coffee shops, and the food-especially the crispy chicken fried steak, fried chicken, and coconut meringue pie-brought back nostalgic memories of home-cooked meals, all served with friendly, attentive service.
