We walked in when it was dead quiet and figured it might be a dud, but slowly the crowd rolled in and the food definitely held its own-those wings and jerk chicken poutine were straight fire, even if the spring rolls didn't quite hit the mark. The service was on point thanks to Preston, who somehow managed not to ask how my food was mid-bite (seriously, why do others do that?), and with TVs everywhere plus cozy seats, it's the perfect laid-back vibe to catch a game and chow down without breaking the bank.

Arriving to an initially empty Onyxx, we were unsure of what to expect, but as more patrons filled the space, a vibrant atmosphere took over. The menu offered a variety of comfort foods like burgers, chicken strips, wings, and fries, all of which satisfied our cravings. While the jerk chicken spring rolls fell short of our expectations, the attentive service and cozy seating, along with the abundance of TVs broadcasting sports, made for an enjoyable dining experience at Onyxx.
