Upon arriving in Houston, my husband and I made our first stop at Tex Chick. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and exceptional service from Angelo. As a vegan, I ordered my usual rice, beans, and tostones, while my husband enjoyed the carne frita and shrimp empanada. The highlight was the special vegan mofongo that Angelo prepared for me, making our dining experience truly unforgettable.
