Dined last night with friends. Restaurant was packed. Thought we were still at 50% capacity. Host didn’t have a mask on, did not get asked for our proof of Vaccination or I D. Server asked if it was ok to remove her mask. I did not feel comfortable. Food was ok, definitely not great. Restaurant seems run down. Don’t think we will be going back. It’s too bad, I had heard great things about Matteo’s in the past.

I ordered take out from Matteo’s for my wife’s Birthday and it was simply amazing. Matteo’s is the best restaurant in Welland and he has the best Homemade Italian food we’ve had anywhere. K & D

We have been many times and tried everything. The food is #1 always and the service is awesome. I would rate Matteo’s as the best Italian in the Welland ❤️ 😀
