Was going to only give 4 stars but had to go with 5 to balance out that first review. iv been to Georges gyros many time and the food and service is always amazing. George and staff are always waiting to give out recommendations. also i have used the coupons from restaurant dot com and if you would have read it you would see that a 18% tip is to be added on. don't get why you mad at the poor kid hes just doing his job.

Just got back from George's Gyros II where I had spaghetti with meat sauce. I really like the spaghetti here (I know, who orders spaghetti at a gyro place...). I was paying close attention to the price I was charged due to the February post. I was charged 6.25 for the spaghetti and 1.25 for the drink (both prices match the menu on the wall). The total came to 8.17, which couldn't possibly include 18% gratuity. I will add George's to my regular lunch destinations.

the food is simple but delicious. Very much a neighborhood friendly restaurant that whose staff greets you like a friend. I would recommend the Original Gyro.

I would consider George's Gyros a fast food
operation. We ordered AND paid at the counter, got our own drinks and were never asked if we wanted anything else or if our food was okay. And then to have the gall to tip 18% without telling us! THEN...they TAXED THE TIP!!!!!!!!
They were cut their own throats. I would never
return, or give it a good recommend to anyone else. That was underhanded. And then when we questioned them about how high the bill was, (no receipt given) it was still never pointed out to us about the tip...OR TAXING THE TIP. DISHONEST! Add to that the fact that they must have run out of seasonings. There was almost NO taste. SAD!!!
