Always wonderful

We had a 6:30 reservation on a Saturday night. Considering how busy the restaurant was we were seated quite promptly. Again considering how busy the restaurant was the service was quite good. We ordered the clam chowder and it was delicious, the salad was delicious, the bread basket consisting of biscuits and cornbread was delicious however the ribeye was flavorless and tough. Ribeye is the only steak we order when at a steakhouse so we know what we should have received. We were extremely disappointed. Having spent $220 for three people for dinner with one drink each no appetizer and no dessert was ridiculous for what we got. We did not complain only because the restaurant was so busy it would have taken them another half an hour to cook a new steak. I will say though the steak temperature was perfect. The chances of us returning to stockyards as there are so many highly rated steak places in Phoenix is unfortunately slim to nil. This is very unfortunate as stock yards restaurant has been here for a very long time and had a tremendous reputation.
