We went to this restaurant thinking it was the same place from about a year ago. Wrong! 1. The staff is disengaged. The hostess reminds me of a hostage suffering from Stockholm syndrome. She spouts random French words like a programmed robot. Our waiter has no business working in the service industry. I really don't know where to start. The best way to sum up our server... He either needs trained or re-trained, needs to wear deodorant, needs to smile at least once, needs to stop grunting, needs to stop being a jerk when he rarely visits the table, needs to actually listen to the customer, needs to be self-aware that his passive aggressive behavior is very bad for his job duties, needs to get out of the service industry asap. There is no presence of any kind of management in the dining area. Bottom line... The service is a complete wreck. 2. The food was nothing like it used to be. They are now serving obviously cheap food product. It was soggy, cold, and some was not edible. We could have received a better meal at a gas station. 3. The prices are absurd. Why would anyone in their right mind spend their hard earned money to be tortured? I am serious, our experience was pure torture, and we were told to pay for it. 4. When we tried to complain, we were put in the position to be argumentative, and we chose not to entertain. I never argue with an idiot because they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. We will simply engage ownership regarding our meal. 5. I beseech anyone planning to dine at Mimi's to choose somewhere else. You have been warned.
