Have been here 3 times. Fantastic service and the food is Amazing . Felt like I fell through time to a 5 year old with my parents at an old 60s diner.

This place sucks. As a local I avoid it like the plague. Their service is terrible and their food is meh!!!! Ignore the hype go somehwere else.

Waited at our table for 20 minutes for service. Left when no one ever came by to help us.

Food was great. It would have been perfect if Rebecca R. would have been a bit more pleasant. We were a party of 6 and it might have been too much for her to handle refills. I asked for a pie to go and she brought it plated with no fork and a Togo box. I said I requested it to go and she looked at me crazy and said yeah thats why I brought you a box. Nice Mr D'z. Employee of the month right there!

Mr D'z Diner was on the Route 66 list and I had really looked forward to eating there. I went in at around 3 pm for a late lunch. I asked how long it would take to get served and explained that I was trying to get to my stop for the evening before dark as my vision isn't as good after dark. I sat down at a table for 6 where I could keep an eye on my bike and luggage. I was told by the young man behind the counter that those tables were saved for larger groups. Although, the place only had a handful of people and all but one of these tables were open. So, I asked if I could sit at one of the tables for four where I could see out the window to keep an eye on my bike and luggage. He said I could sit there. I tried to give him my order to have sent to the table. He said that I would have to wait for the waitress who was nowhere to be seen. I reminded him that I was in a hurry to get where I was headed before dark as my vision became a problem after dark and asked when I could expect the waitress. He said that she would be out in a little bit. So, I asked if he could please just take my order. He said that he would only take my order if I sat at the counter where I had no view of my bike and luggage. I said, okay fine, in an annoyed tone and sat down at the counter. Although, I said it in an annoyed tone, I did not raise my voice. He then said to me that if I used that tone with him again, that I would have to leave. I just came in to eat, not to have my time wasted and be treated disrespectfully by a unaccommodating young man who was likely younger than my grandchild. I eat out regularly and I have never been treated in such an unaccommodating manner at an eating establishment. I got up and walked out and went where they treated me as though they wanted my business.

Not impressed. We'd heard so much about Mr. D's, even before moving to Kingman. My fiance, who was my high school boyfriend back in the 60's, took me there to propose to me, thinking he'd take me back in time a bit. Sadly, the food was pretty bad, the juke box was not working and the service really sucked. We won't be back.
