Don't let that recent three-star review fool you; this place is fantastic! The service is quick, the food is delicious, and I can't get enough of those pecan banana pancakes every time I'm in Tucson.

Laverna's is an awesome place for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. The Fish Fry on Fridays is great. I will always go back.

if you want a good neighborhood mom-and-pop style café, this is a great place for it. The layout's certainly not traditional -- they have at least three rooms and a couple of them have sofas and chairs. Food's good, service same way. Open early and close by 2 PM.
