Tucson Airport, B Terminal, 3 October, 9:15am--very little traffic in airport; OTG concessionaire was almost empty; 3 female employees standing behind the counter. I'm the only customer in line. I picked up a bottled beverage from the self-serve counter and set it down in front of the cash register. I gave the clerk $5; she gave me my change and a receipt. I said thanks and picked up my beverage and turned to leave. The clerk calls out I forgot my receipt. I told her I did not need it. She tells me to throw it away in the trash can provided. As I am three feet away, I asked her to throw it away for me. She made some comment under breath about me being a jerk and loud enough for other customers sitting at tables to hear. I walked back and asked for her name. She said Silvia. I asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she was the manager on duty for OTG in the B terminal. I asked for her supervisor. She said there was no one above her on duty. As I frequent traveler, I will make sure I never purchase another product from an OTG concessionaire. Hopefully, OTG stresses to its managers that insulting customers is not good for business.
