Would give 5 if the Tamales were a bit heartier! We picked up 2dz at the Plano "Holiday Market" earlier this week and while they were delicious, they are just a bit skimpy. We also purchased one of the sauces and it was also very good. The tamales are unique because the "covering" actually has some taste rather than the normal bland Masa taste. The sauce we purchased was tricky in that when tasted alone it seemed very hot but when placed on the tamale w/cheese and sour cream was VERY good and mellow.

Those tamales were the worst I've ever tasted in my life. I honestly would suggest to cut back on the salt and cumin because these were disgusting. We couldn't even eat one because it tasted extremely salty. Also why is there literally 1 inch of meat on there? It's pretty skimpy and nasty to be selling them at a saginaw market.
