It was Christmas Day, 2019. If other restaurants were open, our party of 4 would have gotten up and left after sitting for over an hour before even receiving a menu. I had reservations at 6:00PM and weren’t even approached by a waitress until I stopped the poor overworked busgirl and demanded to speak to the owner. Another 10 minutes passed, the owner came out to take our orders. No apology, just what do you want? The hot and sour soup was a half bowl of watered down broth with barely any visible ingredients. I asked for noodles, as she brusquely dropped them in front of us. She curtly yelled back, “No noodles” and walked away. When my greasy overpriced Shrimp Tempura arrived, I had to look for the shrimp hidden under a mound of tempura fried onions, zucchini sticks and carrots. There were 5 small shrimp. I said overpriced because for $17.95 I expected at least 6 large shrimp. The dipping sauce was tasteless and had difficulty cutting the heavy greasy tempura. The Thai Spring Rolls looked nice at first but they also were full of oil. Their accompanying Thai Sweet Chili sauce was nothing more than duck sauce out of a jar. In summary it was the worst experience I’ve had in years and will never return to this restaurant. I should mention also that other tables did get up and leave out of frustration.
