Me, my husband & my husbands mother visited Betty's early this afternoon. I felt comfortable immediately. The place was clean & friendly. Service was top notch. Together we had salads, pizza's, lasagna & spaghetti. We were all very satisfied with our meals. Delicious! Definitely returning to Betty's.

We went to Betty's based on the positive reviews. That was the first bad choice. After ordering, the pizza was made wrong. Not only once, but three consecutive times. On top of that, the waitress began to get frustrated with us, when the problem was not our fault. This was a huge disappointment, and I do not encourage anyone to make a visit to this establishment.

I go to Betty's for lunch either on Wednesday, Thursday, or on a Friday when "Janice" is the waitress. She is a hoot and a trip all in one. If she can't put a smile on your face, then you must be having a really bad day.
When "Josh" is in the kitchen, I order the 10" Stromboli with "All The Works!" that includes Pepperoni, Sausage, Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives, and Green Peppers. (Ask for your Stromboli on Betty's "Home Style" crust.)

I'm upset I have to even give this one star, because I don't think it deserves that. I ate at Bettys a few months back. I order a slice of pizza and a water. The total came to $5.46. I handed the waitress my debit card and she brought me back my receipts. I tipped $5.00 since I know this is a tough economy, and hey, why not? So, the total charge should have been $10.46. Keyword is SHOULD. When I checked my bank statement a few days later, I saw THREE different charges. The first one was for $5.46, the second for $54.46, and the third for $10.46. I called the restaurant up and spoke with the manager, she was kind and told me to bring in the receipts and my bank statement and she will take care of everything. She told me to come in at 8AM (I had to be at work in Gainesville at 10AM) and provided me with her cell phone number. Well, I printed out my statements and brought the original receipts and arrived promptly at 8AM to Bettys. The manager was no where to been seen. I waited about 10 minutes, then called her cell phone. She answered and said, "Oh sorry, I overslept. I live in Keystone Heights, it'll take me about 45 minutes to an hour to get there, I still need to get ready." and I said, "That's not going to work, I need to be at work by 10AM." so she said "Fine, just leave the statements and the original receipts on the ice box out back and I'll take care of it." I definitely did not leave the original receipts, I left a copy of the receipt and the statement, because asking me to leave the original receipts sounded awfully shady. I give it a few days and then call her back up since I hadn't heard back from her. She answers and says, "Oh... yeah I can't do anything, it was probably you banks fault, you'll need to call them." RUDE, much?! Putting me through the ringer. Oh and I don't live in Melrose, I live about 30 minutes away so having to drive there to drop off the documents were a pain enough as it was and it was very inconvienent since they didn't have a fax machine. Luckily for me, I called up my bank and they filed a claim and got this straighted out IMMEADIATELY for me. I was so thankful, but I will never return to Bettys again. Shady and seems fraudulent.
