The warm hospitality from Ms. Betty herself made the experience truly memorable, as she personally welcomed us and guided us through a menu rich with comforting soul food options. The fried chicken was crispy and flavorful, complemented by generous sides like creamy mac n cheese and sweet yams, though the dishes arrived a bit lukewarm, which slightly tempered the overall warmth of the meal. Despite the simple decor and busy atmosphere, the genuine kindness of the staff and the soulful flavors left a lasting impression, making it a heartfelt taste of Southern tradition in the heart of the community.

The fried chicken and sides were outstanding, but unfortunately they were out of ribs during my visit. The staff was very nice and welcoming, especially Ms. Betty who took care of us personally. The menu had a lot of options to choose from, and the food was flavorful although it could have used a bit more seasoning.
