Waiting for an hour and a half really sets the scene for how beloved this Key West classic is, and while the food and service were solid, I found myself craving a slightly less hectic vibe elsewhere. The key lime pie steals the show here, piled high with meringue like a tiny sailboat-definitely worth the wait, especially if you snag a seat early to enjoy the quirky courtyard and friendly chickens wandering by. The lively atmosphere with live music, friendly staff, and generous portions makes it a memorable stop, though sometimes the bar staff juggling orders is a bit of a circus act; still, it's a brunch experience that keeps me coming back year after year.
