I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant just last week. With the New England Décor I was excited to see what this restaurant had to offer. Being from New England myself I love Cold Water Seafood done right! I started off with a cup of Lobster Bisque (upon recommendation from server). It was outstanding with large chunks of tender Lobster. For my main course I decided to go with a "Fan Favorite" fried Whole Belly Clams. They were fried to perfection with a light batter. OUTSTANDING! After I ate my meal I decided to take a stroll and check out some of the items they had hanging up. Red Sox, Patriots, Lighthouses, etc. Can you get more New England than that? The full bar is very unique with more New England Décor actually built into the top. The open kitchen topped off my experience, seeing how clean and organized it was! I will be back soon!

This was our third visit to The Clambake. (2 visits last winter and 1 so far this winter) We have had lunch and the early bird menu. Have had Scallops, fried filet of sole, and fried clams. Others in our party had baked haddock. No complaints from anyone. The chowder eaters loved the New England Clam Chower. Small portions on the lunch and early bird menu make it great for those with a smaller appetite. Larger appetites should order from the dinner menu.

The waitress was rude, the food was bad and the manager stood there while the waitress defended bad food as "how its done in New England" I know New England food and this was not that, nor the service. The crab cake was as thin as a potatoe pancake and full of filler and the soup was out of a can. You are better off ordering from Costco!
