As a college student, I first visited Don's Famous Hoagies when they opened, and even back then, the indiatlantic tuna melt left a lasting impression on me. Fast forward 34 years later, I found myself back in Melbourne, revisiting this timeless gem of a sandwich shop. The Italian hoagie was a standout, with fresh meats, crisp veggies, and a level of care and attention from the friendly staff that is rare to find these days. Don's Famous Hoagies truly stands the test of time, offering a taste of nostalgia and quality that is hard to come by.
