The fresh dishes here are absolutely fantastic, with the homemade nachos and salsa being a must-try. Of all the places to eat on Marco Island I gladly drive the short distance El Tapatio, consistently excellent. I have never been disappointed, been going there for years.

Take it from a southern California boy who was raised on Mexican food. Tapatios is by far the BEST in SW Florida. And while you're there, be sure and try a Michalada (have it made with Dos Equis for the best taste)
