Parking can be tricky along Florida Avenue, but this venue has an incredible brunch and breakfast menu that really hits the spot. The friendly staff and charming small-town vibe made my visit memorable, especially when I enjoyed the best pastrami Reuben I've ever had.

Not a fancy place, but good food, great prices,and service with a smile. Breakfast menu is varied and good, the other foods are good too, with a few things you don't find just anywhere- like kielbasa and sauerkraut. Burgers are super good. I'm not too impressed with the specials, but they are ok. Reuben is the best you'll get anywhere-at the price especially.

Someone commented there were only 3 reviews. Maybe the reason is that they are at Fat Jack's stuffing their faces. This restaurant has been around 50+ years and it is no wonder. The food is great, prices great, service great. Need I say more? Their business is from people like me who return over and over again. As a matter of fact, I am meeting friends there in a minute to have the Saturday Fish Fry special.

Fantastic, wonderful, amazing or any other name that applies to a family run local restaurant with simple but great food. Known for the best Rubin in Lakeland, but I have never had anything from Fat Jack's that wasn't great.
