I visited the marina on Cinco de Mayo in 2018 and had a blast. Dylan, the guy at the marina, was super helpful with all the docking and hook-up stuff, even the dockside pump out. The marina has all the essentials like gas, water, electricity, and even a cool restaurant called Dockside Waterfront Grill with awesome food and drinks. It's a quick walk to downtown Venice where there are more dining and shopping options, plus we caught the Seafood and Music Festival while we were there. The best part is that the marina is pet-friendly with floating docks that move with the tide, and the Waterfront Grill welcomes pets too. I was in Venice to visit a cousin who just lost her husband and we wanted to have a nice lunch, after giving our names which the two hostesses were very unfriendly we were told they were cleaning two tables off and it would be a few minutes which we were fine with that. After at least 20 minutes and no one even coming to seat us and just walking by us we left. Very disappointed because we really wanted to eat there.
