The fried chicken at this establishment tends to be on the greasy side, but the standout item is the corn fritters. Despite the longer wait times for orders, the service has consistently been good during my visits. While the side dishes may not match the quality of the chicken, the French fries are a notable exception for their excellence.

4/20 @ 12;17 WHY so much Salt.... $22 for tea, gizzards, livers cheesy peppers AND "SALT !!!" I emphasize SALT. Most discussing , very disappointed.....

I love chicken from here, to me it's fried perfectly with crunchy exterior and a juicy interior with great flavors. The sides are also amazing and I usually have a hard time of choosing between their potato salad or the mashed potatoes. It's all good

With their prices being so high already, for them to charge .32 for ranch dressing to put on their $5 onion rings is unbelievable and a deal breaker for me and my wife! PPM P Poor Management! IMHO In addition they did not even get the order right to begin with.

This is the best fried chicken I have tasted in a very long time. You will not be disappointed. Whenever I go to Melrose I stop there. You can't beat it.
