The authentic Cantonese dishes, from turnip cake and scallop pancakes to beef chow fun and congee, arrived fresh, flavorful, and piping hot, showcasing a consistent quality that impressed me both times I visited. The friendly, efficient service paired with a cozy, inviting atmosphere made sharing a variety of dishes enjoyable, though I found the seasoning a bit heavy for my taste.

First of all I have to say that I probably know about as much about real Chinese food as anyone who does not make it their business to know Chinese food. I lived in Hawaii for several years and spent significant time in many pacific rim countries including China and Hong Kong. The best Dim Sum in town is at this place right here. The regular fare is as good as any I have ever tasted and the more specialized stuff like the beef tandon and the tripe eclipses anything else in town. That includes that Chinese Bistro behind the Vietnamese restaurant off of Colonial. Scott Joseph really needs to check this place out and he will be a total convert. I highly recommend this restaurant over any other in town, especially if you like REAL Chinese food.
