I had an incredible experience trying Haitian food for the first time, and the Red Snapper platter with creole rice and fried plantain left me licking my fingers. Initially, I felt a bit intimidated by the lack of a hostess and the unfamiliar atmosphere, but the chef's warm smile and hospitality quickly turned my apprehension into excitement.
