I took my Niece here for the first time in Dec 2010 for my Birthday. The meal was amazing. Scallops melted in the mouth & the lamb shank was to die for . I'd certainly recommend Ian's to any one going to South Florida

This restaurant was recommended by my tennis teacher. I am VERY particular. This is the best place I have eaten since I came to Hutchinson Island..bar none. If you have problems with this restaurant, it may be because you are more interested in show rather than taste. The food is delicious, original, fun and everything a great restaurant should be. Sorry it you object to a trailer park nearby...!! What is that all about??

Patricia, we have been under construction to fix that problem for a few months. I am happy to say that as of today we are connected to city sewer, the smell is gone.

The food and wait staff are terrific, but the inside is too small and hot, and the out side smells like cesspool. Your best bet is to sit outside, away from the building. For the prices they charge, I think the owner could afford to fix the cesspool smell. For the same price I would recommend 11 Maple St. as well.

Started with a black as in burnt "grilled romaine Salad" way over priced for being next to trailer park in Rio. If you want upscale 11 Maple Street around the corner is as good as it gets for the same price!!!!

We have been dining at Ian's in Ft Pierce, and at the newer Jensen Beach location, for over 10 years. This is by far the finest seafood restaurant in the entire Treasure Coast area. The owners, Eric & Paula, do a wonderful job of creating the finest appetizers, entrees, & desserts while providing a tropical atmosphere, with friendly and efficient service. Some of the salsas & sauces that accompany the different fish dishes are incredible. They also excel in setting up special wine tastings with wonderful "lite bite" plates. Monthly wine dinners are also on their agenda with some of the finest wines, and 5 or 6 course menus, you have ever tasted. If you want to try at least one great place to dine, try IAN'S

WOW! A hidden paradise. Last night my husband and I ventured out to take advantage of a "birthday post card" offering one free meal at Ian's Tropical grill. Native New Yorkers, we've only been down her 12 months and have yearned for a special restaurant that wasn't a chain. Who would have thought that a post card would bring us to paradise. Doug our waiter recommended an appetizer and entree...not to be matched. We surely will be back again, and again, and again.
