We have always received good service and everything we have ordered is great. It’s a nice place to go for locals who don’t want to go to a chain restraint. Hollie melt and fried cheese cake amazing.

I ordered takeout for my husband and I this evening, we ordered catfish, fries, a baked potato and when I was talking to the staff member who took the order had us both extremely confused! She told me that there was a choice of 1 catfish filet and or 2 catfish filets with two sides. I told her the first was a 1 piece with a baked potato and coleslaw, she said that it didn’t come with a baked potato and it would be a charge of $2.50, I agreed and it was okay. I told her sweet potato fries would be my 2nd choice, my husband wanted the 2 piece with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. She told me my total was $32.00! What! Good grief. Once we got our food home it was a huge disappointment to say the least as it was all pre frozen with the exception of the potato and slaw. The hush puppies were gawd awful and they also came from a bag of frozen hush puppies and fired.. We recently moved here from Northwest Florida and are use to our catfish and hush puppies freshly made, the catfish was always prepared fresh with their cornmeal breading and the hush puppies also made from scratch. Also, Jaxon’s fish wasn’t filets, they were some kind of pre frozen nuggets. We will never go back to Jackson’s as we were very disappointed, we should have gone to Captain D’S and saved at least $20.00!

I have been going to jaxsons since I was a kid when it was Jacksons grocery store. The food has always been great during the many changes of managment. However; don't fooled by their claim on their web site that they support the comunity. Because I broke my leg getting out of boat at Jaxsons recently and nobody from the restuarant lifted a finger to help me, instead they just watched. I had to call my family to come and carry me from the beach to my fathers car so t could go to the emergency room. So much for supporting the community. Shame on you Jaxons.

Food was not inedible,but trickery in the two for one menu. If you don't have a partner for dining you don't receive the two for one price. Including the all u can eat fish special. Not to mention the beer two for one! Why not charge half the price or even a little extra for one ordering the fish. What's the difference? Just not right.

Jaxson's use to be very good but with a new owner it isn't now. Had lunch on 1-14-14. Our food was not the way waitress described and when I asked her she said "sorry about that." I also had ice tea with no refills and my hubby had two draft beers for the same price. I hated to even tip the waitress but we did. Will not go back again.

Service will be their way not yours,. Blackened tuna ordered med/rare was stone cold in the middle and uncooked, when I asked waitress about it she said its suppose to be that way, it's like sushi? Service was as cold as the fish.
