Every visit to this deli in Naples delivers an enormous, fresh, and homemade sandwich experience that reminds me of classic New York flavors, especially when biting into a towering corned beef on rye or a perfectly seasoned pastrami. The service is famously intense, with a loud and brash staff that adds a theatrical edge to the meal, turning a simple lunch into an unforgettable show filled with spirited banter and occasional yelling. Despite the rough-around-the-edges atmosphere, the incredible sandwiches, flavorful soups like matzo ball and chopped liver, and generous portions make it a culinary experience that's well worth embracing.
