I was so impressed with this restaurant. I have not seen a Jamaican restaurant for a long time with such warmth and cleanliness. This place can cater to the White House, lots of respect to the owners and workers. Keep up the good work, you make Jamaicans proud.

Clearly Andrew is delusional your the only one with a complaint but I mean it wouldn't be a successful business if it didn't have it's haters anyway I come to mamas kitchen all the time I used to go to donnas and golden krust but after having mamas kitchens food I need not try anywhere else their food is great the environment is wonderful it's the best Jamaican food in south Florida.

I don't know what that lady is talking about, she must be trying something. This is the best, most friendly, warm and clean restaurant in Florida, as a Jamaican place. The workers and owners are so polite. I hope more people will support this restaurant in the coming year. Keep up the good work, you make all of us Jamaicans proud, to see all nations coming in to this place when I am there warms my heart. Keep on boss man you are doing a good job in Sunrise. Your food excellent and price real good. Oh if you don't even want something to eat, just come in and take a look at the bathrooms, you would think you are at home, or at a 5 star hotel very clean.

I have not eaten like this in a long time, being form a small town (Ocala) Jamaican restaurants aren't popular in my area; so visiting this spot was well worth the wait the service was Great!! The owner had a smile to always remember and the FOOOOD People the food was so good talk en about gluttony; had a plate to go, and please try the pound cake, you might want to slap your mama. Thanks mamas kitchen.

Food today was horrible. I made the mistake a buying a small Tripe & Beans to go for $7.50. When I got back to work & had to throw the entire lunch away. To begin with, tripe was not properly cleaned during preparation and had lots of nasty fat on it. The curry was more brown than grean & had a burnt look to it. Looks like they scraped the bottom of the pot as I could see burnt scrapings all over the food. I called the owner to complain but he didn't seem to care. He said it looked fine to him. Not to be one sided, last week I bought their cow food & it was very good. But after this I cant take any more chances with this place. $7.50 down the drain.

I had the saltfish & macaroni with green banana, yam, sweet potato & dumplings on Monday 02/14/11. It was wonderful!!! The food was not too salty (as usually happens with saltfish dishes). I really enjoyed it.

I am impressed with this Resturant, reason I am in awe at the deportment of this place. Clean, the bathroom is like you are at your own home. I met the owner such a decent and friendly man, who makes you feel welcome. I am not a Jamaican, but the food is so good I keep going back. May they continue to serve Florida and expand, this is what we need restaurants like these. Keep up the good work.

I enjoy the great dishes and its awesome to get bananas and yams on the side with rice and peas. Its truly a favorite Caribbean spot I treasure!

I have been Mama's Kitchen on several occasions and tried several different dishes and they all were great.The service ,price and the atmosphere are very good,I would recommend this restaurant to any one who is looking for a wonderful place to dine.

For the best Jamaican food in South Florida, this is a restaurant you should visit. Food is always warm, good for the stomach.
