my names janice tyler and i live in brunswick georgia.i would like to let you know about my experience yesterday in your restaurant.my sister,her husband and myself decided to take a rode trip for the day and just take in the sights and spend the day together.we passed your restaraunt and decided to stop and have lunch.nice atmosphere and overlooking the water was very nice.your hostess seated us and was very nice.finally our waitress came.her name was kim.this was around lunch time and your place was not to busy.here is a list of things i would like to bring to your attention.
1.she didnt bring us water as i noticed she did to two other tables.
2.we ordered tea and it took her a bit to even get us that,been riding for a couple hours and it would have been nice to get something to wet the whistle.
3.then she came to get our order and talked so fast telling of your specials we really didnt understand her.
4.my brother-n-law order a steak and baked potato,and when she ask what salad dressing he would like he ordered thousand island which she said yall didnt have any of that.and name off what you did have which again talked so fast you couldnt understand her.
5.how long does it take to make a small bowl salad.when she finally brought it he ask for crackers.her reply was if we have any.he was almost finished with his salad when she brought them.by this time our tea glasses was almost empty.
6.my sister ordered shrimp and scallops and a baked potato.when our food finally came my brother-n-law ask if a roll came with it and she said no and he ask if maybe he could get a hush-puppy.she went to get it but never did i finally give him mine.most redneck men has to have bread with a meal
7.he ask for steak sauce and her reply was if i can find some.had to ask twice before he got it and he told her it was the last bottle.(i watched the male server and he had no trouble taking sauce to his customers,or refilling their drinks)still havent recieved anymore tea
8.my sister commenced to fixing her baked potato and it had a big black place on the side of it,she ask kim if she could get another one and kim told her that yall were out of them.this was at lunch time and the place wasnt that busy maybe 10 tables were in use.she finally brought her french fries.
this girl needs some training.you have a very nice place and im sure you get the travelers.but service like this is ridiculous.your food was very good.i enjoyed the meal very much.but the service was terrible.and it was the same way for the people beside us.they were perturbed also.i spent 65.00 and she would have gotten a 10.00 tip but for the service we got she got 0.tips are given for the service thats given not for the price you pay for the meal.
they say what you do on new years you do all year long.i sure hope thats a myth because i eat out a lot and i sure hope i dont get served by waitresses like kim for a whole year.
