Went into the joint last night for dinner at 5:50pm, now most would think that the place would be packed with the dinner crowd. At most, the place was a less then 1/3 full. The waiter was slow to greet me and take my order. I placed my order at 5:56pm. I had ordered the meatloaf ( $8.45 ) dinner which came with a salad. The salad came about 5 mins later.( no biggie ). The meal it self came at 6:17pm and the only thing that was hot was the baked potatoe. The meatloaf was cold (gravy was on the side at my request). Not once did the waiter come by to check on anything. at 6:35pm, I had lost my appetite. I went up to the cashier and explained that the meatloaf was cold and that the waiter had not once checked on me. I told her that I had only eaten the side salad and half of the potatoe, she then provided me a bill for $ 6.08. I thought that this was a joke. I figured that if I'm going to pay that I might as well get the rest for not more. I'm sure the homeless person who got the meal appreciated the cold meal. The service from the waiter and cashier was very poor. When asked to speak to a manager, the cashier said that they would not do anything. I can honestly say from having worked in the restaurant industry for many years, that the level of service/professionalism did not even register as good faith. There are many more places that would appreciate your business. Will never set foot in the place again.

what a crappy manager/owner don't stand behind the reputation the food was so bad as his way to treat a customer is ever worst you just lost a customer that used to buy there several times a week, your loss not mine , this is AMERICA! we pay for good service not what you want to give at your will, i highly recommend to people to watch twice before placing an order in this place, no more of my money will go to your dirty and disgusting place you'll disrespect other people but not me, keep your food and don't need to eat that GARBAGE ANYMORE!!!!

Four of us ate at this diner for the first time. Three of us had horrible dinners which was bad enough but the management's attitude was basically "who cares?" If you go, do NOT order dinner - stick with the simple burgers & breakfast.

If it were possible to give less than 1 star, we would. This was the worst restaurant we've ever eaten in. The meatloaf looked like 2 slabs of Alpo covered in a congealed pool of canned gravy. The bun on the hamburger was soaked through with the water from the lettuce, and despite confirming TWICE that the burger should be well-done, it was still raw in the middle. The waitress was completely inept; she kept leaning over guests to serve and pour water. To cap it all off, she spilled an entire glass of wine over me, and barely bothered to apologize. I was wet to my underwear! The cashier refused to remove the cost of the dinner for this atrocity. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!

I live in Rockmart, Ga. I manage to get to my brother's house (he lives in Ft. Lauderdale) & the very first place we have to stop & eat is here!!!

I love the food, I've had nothing but good experiences each visit.

I wish they would franchise to GA. I'd be a definite spokes person for them.

If you ever have an opportunity to eat there.
TRY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT.

I grew up in Lauderdale and have eaten at Peter Pan more times than I can remember. Food is awesome, service is great. Open 24 hours so its a great stop after a night of getting hammered at the clubs, plus their full liquor bar serves alcohol till 4am. If you're ever in Oakland Park and need a meal or a beverage, try Peter Pan Diner. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!
