Friday is there clam chowder and if you have not tried it you are missing out on the best chowder. The Ranch House has an awesome menu and the food is excellent. I have been going there for years and compared to other restaurants this place is the best. Friendly servers and great prices. They will go out of there way to please you and your guests.

"..Has got to be one of the crummiest restaurants i've been to in a while. I understand the economy is "bad" (that's why we are all driving new cars and eating out and wearing $200 affliction shirts, right?) but i ordered a dinner portion, but got the early bird size, paying difference so i expected a larger meal..complained to waitress, her name was Marion? she seemed bothered by my request but took the plate nonetheless. I was seated fairly near the kitchen and could hear all the servers gossiping about me which i did not appreciate. When my meal returned the server plopped it down without a hint of acknowledgment, turned around and walked away.. i was shocked.. must have been smoke-break time because i then saw her puffing a cig outside in broad daylight. i must add i didnt see her wash her hands after coming back in and immediately going over to another table. When it came time for the bill i had to wait with stacked dirty plates infront of me until she came back to push a desert that i passed on and which she seem offended that i didnt accept. when the bill came i was over charged for my meal and had an additional charge for dressing and extra onions..asked to speak with manager and i could hear my server being yelled at by him. Momentarily felt bad but when he came to my table it seemed being high strung was his nature. i addressed the extra charges and he said there was no changing them, that i ate those extra items i had to pay for them. i said i wasnt aware that i would be charge an extra 2 bucks for onions and salad dressing and that my meal was 14.99 instead of 9.99. he continues to ARGUE with me about whether i think he's trying to steal from me and i almost came unglued when he said i looked like i could afford it. is that what they do at The Ranch House? Adjust prices according to your appearance? I told him he lost a customer and he said good, take your business elsewhere, and started muttering Greek obscenities. Never have i been so insulted. "

The menu is so varied that you can always find something you have a craving for. The best deal is the one pound sirloin for 13.99. You have 2 meals with all the food you get. The Greek food there is also fabulous. The burgers are big and juicy and tasty. Their desserts are sooo good. Get the cowboy hat and eat it with your sweetie. Always the best service. Best prices, and they have early bird menu prices as well as a whole page of specials every day. You will keep going once you try them. We have been going for YEARS and will keep going back. Always something to please everyone in the family.
