I visited Riverside Cafe last week after receiving a recommendation, and I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions; I particularly enjoyed the crab claws and blackened fish sandwich. The restaurant offers a lively ambiance with live music on weekends, making it an enjoyable spot to relax and take in the river views, though the presence of birds around the tables may be a consideration for some diners.

Last week, while spending a couple of days in the area, a local suggested trying out Riverside for dinner one evening. When my wife and I arrived on a Tuesday evening, the atmosphere was laid-back with just a few patrons. Our food server was exceptional, providing attentive service and even bringing a propane cylinder to warm our table. The fish and shrimp combination plate I ordered was flavorful, though I found the grouper pieces a bit small and heavily battered. The cocktails were expertly crafted, adding to the enjoyable experience at this riverside eatery.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years. Was always consistent and great. Not now. Prices have increased, understandable but the quality was awful. Peel and eat shrimp were frozen, not fresh and so over cooked. Margaritas were awful, tasted like a mix from a bottle. Very disappointed.
