(Coconut Creek Location)Food was okay. It was not overly salty which I liked and cheese was fresh, not processed. I would go back if it weren't for poor service and attitude. Return back don't return back--it doesn't seem to matter to the staff. Customers waiting a really long time for food which is understandable if it was busy but it wasn't. We weren't informed that food would be on the way shortly, ect. We actually began to think we were forgotten about. A "thanks for waiting" would have made up for it..but..we didn't get that either. We felt like we were an annoyance to the staff but you don't know how a restaurant is until you try it. It did seem short staffed and the result of not hiring enough employees is customers not returning...

My family has tried Scarfone's twice. The food is average at best. The service is snobby. The two times that we went to Scarfone's we were not "allowed" to be seated where we wanted (and both times, the place was empty). The first time was because a private party was cominb TWO HOURS later. The second time we were not able to be seated where we requested because the hostess said, "that table is for the manager's friends and family." What is up with that? In these economic times, service is critical. To be told by some snotty hostess that we weren't good enough to sit at a particular table (which never was filled) it beyond me. There are tons to places to eat. There will be a "for lease" sign in the window withing 6 months.
