i HAD A GREAT MEAL AT SCRUBY'S THE HOSTESS WAS COURTEOUS AND THE WAIT STAFF WAS VERY EFFICIENT. MY MEAL'S PORTION WAS GENEROUS AND THE RIBS TASTY.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT I RECOMMEND THE RIBS AND SWEET POTATO
07/22/2008 - It used to be GREAT, now it's just OK.
Scruby's was just mentioned in the Sun-Sentinel as a great place to take the kids because kids 5 and under eat FREE...So, my wife and I took the twins (age 5) to the Tamarac location. When I asked for the 5 and under menu, she said the owner cancelled that deal a few weeks ago. NO SIGNS WERE POSTED telling customers about this...Anyway, the waitress had an attitude the entire meal after I told her there should be a sign, and that the restaurant was just in the paper for offering free meals.
The meals were overall very good, but they are skimping on the beans and giving slightly smaller portions than before. Since my children no longer get free meals, we will drive a shorter distance to Sonny's BarBque where the service is MUCH better.
