We paid $60 for 2 dinners, tea, and the tip. Portions extremely small. Grouper did not taste good. Place had high-priced food with a low-priced atmosphere! Will NEVER return==no never return to this dump!

You can tell by the numberof locals dining here that this is a place to try.I had the low country boil and I like both quality and quantity. The serving was more than generous. The food was tasty and hot and I can see 2 people sharing this one meal. The service was excellent as well
I will be back and sharing my great experience with family and friends.

I read some bad reviews that were from years ago. But since I have been going to this restaurant the last 3 years it has been fresh, tasty and affordable!
Love oyster day prices on Wednesdays!

What an amazing time we had in this little place that is filled with an ambiance that is just relaxing and carefree.
We got taken care of by a terrific young lady named Kendall and my wife ordered a fish that she saw in the advertising they have in the internet. Kendall didn't know about that particular dish and went for help.
Guess who showed up.? The owner.! Nathan, and he reviewed with my wife the menu on his phone until my wife saw what she wanted to order.
The dishes were good and tasteful and reasonable priced too.
All in all we had a nice relaxed time eating and enjoying the place.
It is a small place. But there is something about it that feels kind of welcoming and cozy.
Check it out.!
My wife and I had a great time in there and I want my friends to have a good time too.
So I will tell them about this little place and I hope they check it out.
I know they will thank me for the tip.!

tis place has been going down hill for years.i gave them another try tonight with a take out flounder dinner. i just tossed it in the trash and i,m heading to krystal for a couple of greasy burgers. the flounde was not flounder ,probably talapia, and more grease than fish.the fries were the only thing close to edible and they were awful.i just read another review on anothe site and the poor fellows wife got terribly sick from this place. do not waste your time or cash. go some place else.

I wasn't going to do this, but when I called the manager, she got a little short with me, so here goes. The seafood was "OK" for the price, not a lot of flavor(stright seafood). The portions were good, but the big issue that I had, was that they had "TARTAR Sauce" setting on the tables. Not a good move for a product that contains Mao in it. My wife got extremely sick that evening, to the point that we were ready to head to the emergency room.
So, if you want a lot of sea food, with little flavor, take your own Tartar sauce and enjoy.

My family and guest LOVE this local's seafood restaurant. The food is fresh and yummy. My kids enjoy the gator, shrimp, and every thing else. My parents love to come to Jacksonville just for the Seafood Kitchen's food. For 18 years we have enjoyed eating there. We call it a "hole in the wall" with the utmost respect. Look forward to eating there again tonight!

Born and raised in Jax, I grew up eating fresh seafood, NOT FROZEN STUFF. Our dinners were bottom line "AWFUL". Shrimp & Scallops broiled in an inch of SOMETHING, half pieces, NO FLAVOR. GROUPER 1/4" sliced, if that, DRIED OUT LIKE BONE. DINERS BEWARE. MY ADVICE, RUN, FAST SOMEWHERE ELSE !!
