We had Dinner last Friday at the place. I need to tell you this: If you charge 18.50$!! for Lamp Chops then they shouldn't have the size of 3 very tiny Bird Legs. This is embarrasing for you and doesn't leave room for recommendations. Also, Yannis was good but simply way to loud for the small location- it makes a conversation almost impossible.

I live in Clark County and generally always cross the river to eat as I've never found any impressive mid-range priced food here. However, Touch of Athens surprised us tonight. We no longer will have to drive to Portland to eat at Alexis to get our Greek fix, as Touch of Athens has much better food. We had the calamari plates--the Greek salad was delicious, as good as homemade. The dinner plate had a generous portion of tender, well seasoned and lightly fried (with not too much batter) calamari--the best I've had outside of Europe. The tsatziki (sp?) was also delicious, with noticeable shreds of cucumber and enough fresh garlic to kill a vampire (maybe a tad too strong, but definitely tasted fresh). The sides were also delicious--orzo, 4 stalks of asparagus and one large slice of tender, well seasoned pan-fried potato. The only negatives were that we should have made a reservation on Saturday night; we barely made it in time for them to seat us before we needed to leave for the musicians performing that night were to take our table. There are not many tables in the small, intimate space. Our waitress (an older woman--maybe the wife of the owner?) was a bit brusque and not very welcoming. She needs to take some lessons in making people feeling welcome (how about trying to act more Greek--smile a little bit and act more laid back??). It was pretty clear from the beginning that we didn't have much time for our meal and that she needed us to leave soon. When she asked if we wanted anything else (no "can I offer you some dessert?) I told her no thank you, and that I could tell she needed us to leave to make room for more customers. She smiled in agreement, but then disappeared for a good 10 minutes until she brought us our bill. Also I wish they had a child's menu with smaller portions. Our 4 year old eats anything (he loved the pieces of red onion in the Greek salad), but he eats too much to share a meal with us, doesn't want or need the bland food normally offered on kid's meals and eats too little to order a regular sized meal. In conclusion, the food alone is worth coming here, but I wish the service were better and there were options for ordering a smaller meal.

We went to Touch of Athens one night with our 2 year old daughter. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was AMAZING. My daughter LOVED the live music and we loved that we weren't made to feel uncomfortable about our roudy kid.
We had the appetizer plate to start. The hummus is the best I have ever had. I have several friends who are middle eastern and one of them owns their own deli and I still like Touch of Athens hummus better. We both had the lamb. Perfectly cooked, perfect portion size, overall PERFECT. A little on the spendy side but worth every penny and then some. The entire experience was memorable and we will be going back very soon.
