The incredibly kind redheaded woman behind the counter brightened my day with great recommendations; their chocolate raspberry torte, with its perfectly thin layers and balanced sweetness, quickly became my favorite cake reminiscent of European tortes, while their cookies, pastries, and petite brownies consistently impress, though some items like the vanilla cupcakes and carrot cake torte didn't quite meet my expectations, yet the excellent service, delicious chocolates, and beautifully decorated cakes keep me coming back, making this Portland bakery a cherished staple despite recent steep price increases.
