Pizza U is a great place for starving college kids. Cheap food that tastes great. The pizza is not the best but you can not beat the price. The subs and cheese steaks are by far the best in newark especially the chicken cheese steaks. If you looking for some great cheap food Pizza U is your place.

Pizza U ROCKS!!! There bakewiches with a free can has become a weekly tradition of dinner at my house! Not to mention there hoagies are banging...try the italian. I found out about pizza u as a freshman at a frat party some kid ordered like 20 pizzas and and some hoagies. I just remembered my buddy kept saying how cheap this place was and they deliver till like 4am and he was right.

They have become a HUGE disappointment. After using Pizza U for our jr/sr high youth group for a year and a half, they failed to bring in our order on time. When the pastor called to track down the order, with 15 minutes until the kids went home, the manager apologized many times but still had no explanation or offers to make the incident right. When the pastor asked for half off the order, the manager SWORE at her! The driver showed up at 8pm, when our kids go home, and said he had other deliveries first, even though his instructions were to come deliver our order FIRST. Needless to say, we did not get our pizza, the kids went home hungry, and we will not be using them again.
