Jessica told me not to come back all bc of chicken

I have been a customer for over 5 years and always ordered the chef salad or a cheesesteak. Yesterday (11/19) I decided to order the chicken tender side order. Big mistake. The chicken had a foul gamey taste and even smelled bad. The chickens texture was also rubbery. I never had an issue like this before so I went back to get something else instead. I was greeted by the nice cashier with the pinkish hair and explained what happened. She called Jessica (the manager/owners wife) over and her and the cooks started looking. At this moment the cashier asked what I would want instead as I already told her I wanted something else. I said a cheesesteak, just ketchup. She said it will be ready in 10 minutes. I came back to have Jessica ask me what was wrong with the chicken. I reiterated the taste and smell was bad and I didn't want it which is why I ordered the cheesesteak. She then went on to say while smirking that the bag was just opened and they don't even make the chicken. I reiterate that it still tasted and smelled bad and that is why I wanted something else. She then said we didn't make that, it was a manager decision, we aren't making it. She tops her response off by telling me not to come back and would do a refund. There was no accountability or respect from Jessica. I will spread the word about how you treat customers who return rotten chicken. At least the cashier had enough common sense to at least fix the situation by asking what I wanted instead, but no, Jessica canceled my order without my knowledge.

There was no apology, just a refund receipt handed to me and I was on my way. You have already lost a lot of customers because of this incident as they disagree with your treatment of me as a customer and as a human being. Since this economy votes with money, myself and others will no longer spend our money in support of your products, services, and attitudes. You handled this interaction very poorly which is more of a loss to you than me.

I found out about Little Vinnie from a family member. The food is awesome! Friendly staff. I ordered food 4 times in one week! Definitely will recommend to friends.

I had the pasta New Orleans. OMG it was the best! It was full of crabmeat/large shrimp. The platter was so big I ate it for 3 meals. The bread came to the table piping hot, salad fresh and the price could not be beat! The service was fantastic! My only complaint wish they were open on weekend Saturday. BTW cheesesteaks, old fashion sub and pizza are excellent also from other side !

I have lived in Delaware since 1969 and did not know Vinnie's was in the shopping strip off 141. My daughter introduced Vinnie's to me and I could not eat an entire sandwich it was so full of stuff (and I do not eat lettuce out so it was not full of lettuce). The sandwich was delicious!!!

I have a sister who moved to North Carolina and they do not make sub's like we do. I was going down via Amtrak and Vinnie's made me a sub I could transport to her and it tasted like it was just make 24 hours later. They put waxed paper to separate the roll from the meat, cheese and veggies, put the oil, peppers and pickles in a little container! She was very happy and said it tasted like we just bought it!

Love their food and very accommodating to their customers.

It's the food....delicious! but it's also the friendly and very personal service. Go once...and Beverly will remember you! It's the perfect neighborhood restaurant....like Cheers -- where everybody knows your name! The angel hair pasta is the best!

this is by far the best Italian restaurtant in Wilmingtin
Dining Room Dishes are by far the best in the area and are very reaonable. Pizza and steaks are unbelivable and Catering trays are the best for the price.

Little Vinnie's Restaurant is a real favorite in the Italian-American community -- and they know good Italian cooking! The staff is terrific and the food is outstanding and reasonably priced! A special treat is Italian wedding soup -- but it's not always on the menu! Try it...and you'll keep comng back - at Little Vinnie's, you're part of the family!!!
