During Veterans Day weekend, we enjoyed two visits to Summer House, first at the lively bar with trivia night and then at the cozy backroom speakeasy, the Libation Room, where the cocktails and appetizers were outstanding. The crab cakes were packed with real crab and paired perfectly with roasted brussel sprouts and those amazing Jack Tarr potatoes, making for a satisfying dinner. The friendly service, festive atmosphere, and creative drinks make this a favorite local spot we'll definitely be returning to soon.

06/06/2012 - STAY AWAY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GAY!
My partner and I were discriminated against at the Summerhouse, because we were gay. I was so furious about it I sued them through the state's Human Relations Commission and WON, Unanimously!
I'll never go to any of the Big Fish Restaurant Group restaurants, which includes the Summerhouse, Big Fish and now Salt Air.
