We ate here in 2003 to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a historic experience with great food. It is a pity they tore the whole building down. They could have left the facade and created a new building behind it. Now it's just a lifeless, depressing, open field. Maybe they can build a replica of it and hold weddings and events there again.

I loved this restaurant. It has a special place in my memories. Loved the homemade breads and food. The staff dressed in colonial attire. So special. It breaks my heart that it has been torn down.

GREAT service, Great food, even a piano bar on Wednesday. Simple, elegant food, and the specials were excellent and good value. We will go again!

Liked this place alot. Very simple, good food with FRESH veggies. alot of places in Delaware serve what we consider to be substandard restaurant fare (canned veggie, or overly seasoned, soggy frozen veggies). The food here was well prepared, and simply done. the service was great. We both loved it. my only complaint was that there was a musty smell when I first walked in (maybe the a/c?) and hope they fix that soon. Would go here again.
