Escaping the Massachusetts chill, we found ourselves immersed in an unexpected tropical oasis in Newport, where vibrant island art and flickering lights transported us far from winter's grasp. The flavors were a revelation-exquisite island fried rice with tender pork belly, crispy crab rangoons, and mahi mahi tacos bursting with boldness, all perfectly paired with expertly crafted rum cocktails served in whimsical tiki vessels. Amid the lively, packed room, the attentive bartenders guided us through the menu with warmth and humor, making this lively hideaway an unforgettable highlight of our trip.
