Every time I'm in Richmond, stopping by Sugar Shack has become a must because their donuts are incredibly fresh and flavorful, especially the red velvet and old fashioned cake varieties. The fact that most of their yeast donuts are vegan blew me away-they're light, airy, and no one would guess they're plant-based. On top of that, the staff's warmth and helpful recommendations made the experience even better, turning a simple donut run into a memorable treat.

Sugar shack near chesterfield town center mall.
Worse place ever. When I arrived they told me 10 to 15 minute tops for a dozen donuts. Then they asked for a tip. I thought okay times are tough why not. Told the lady ill shop at sheets and be back in 15 minutes. I actually came back in 20 minutes and park and called them to update them. 40 minutes later I call and ask where the donuts. I was inform if I didn't want them I could just leave which I inform them I paid for it why then could I not get a refund. So the lady comes out and I ask if they just forgot my order. She said no and it takes time to bake. I told her I think your B.S. me but that's fine. She then said I can have a refund and leave. I ask for a receipt for proof and she said I can just pull up front. I said thank you and pull up. The manager comes out and demands I apologize for harassing staff. I said no and he throw a box of donuts in my car and demands I leave. I said I will when I get my refund. He calls the cops and then bans me. I'm fine never coming back but he stole money from me! I email him to see if he will refund me then he threatens me with a restraint order if I post any review about what happens. He's a theif. Don't go there!
