The NC-style pulled pork sandwich and brisket beans from Inner City were some of the best I've ever tasted, with perfectly cooked bologna, flavorful onions, hand-cut fries, balanced macaroni, and amazing pies all delivered hot and well-packaged for a 30-person work function, complemented by outstanding customer service and a welcoming, personable staff, making this Black-owned, takeout-only spot my new regular for authentic, tender, and flavorful barbecue and Southern sides that consistently meet high standards even for picky eaters like me.
