Always AMAZING!!

I've only gotten 2 items to go at Vinnies and both times very disapointed, especially after seeing reviews on websites. First was a cheese pizza, it was the lower of the 2. The crust was like a sponge, slightly under cooked & thicker than l like, but overall tasted like like anchovies was part of the sauce recipe. The second item was mannacotti. It was a little better but l wouldn't buy it again. I'm a big fan of ricotta cheese, but l truely don't think theirs was ricotta. It tasted like unseasoned finely pulverized cottage cheese with no parm or egg binder in it, just plain cottage cheese. The sauce wasn't to bad, a little underseaoned, but never-the-less could've been more it, and it was underbaked.
As a result, l highly doubt l'll eat there again. The service & staff may be great, but that's not why l love italian foods. I can overlook freindlyness & atmosphere if the food is good, but in this case didn't fill the bill. I'm not willing to pay tips for good service alone, because it's the food that really counts when eating out.

Vinny's Italian Restaurant was fabulous! The food was delicious and the service was very warm and friendly. Vinny's is also a great supporter of our schools and community. I think that everyone should taste one of the best Italian restaurants in Richmond.
