I have not read any of the previous reviews, so pardon me if I am (unknowingly) repetitious.
Just on a whim, my wife and I tried out this relatively new Japanese restaurant, which is located at the site of a lackluster Indian restaurant that was in a big, boxy, sterile room. From the moment we entered the beautifully transformed interior until we left an hour and a half later, we were thrilled by the ambiance, the food, and the attentive service by the owner/chef, who designed and created the interior space, or should I say spaces. The interior had been magically and tastefully converted into several intimate eating locations, each having a few tables and one or two for larger parties.
All the food was perfectly prepared. The portions of fresh fish were so large that I had to bite each succulent nigiri into two pieces. The restaurant was quiet. The prices were low, especially considering their size.
What more can I say, except, we'll be back!
