I am continually amazed by the quality of the food at Uncle Chai. Tonight we shared Kanom Jeep - steamed port dumplings, delicious sauce; Kow Kang Karee Gai - yellow curry - best curry I've ever tasted, spices just right (could lick the bowl on this one!); Kow Moo Dang Moo Krob - BBQ pork and crispy port - tender flavorful pork in 2 ways. so good; Pad Thai with tofu and shrimp - my always favorite, just perfect. The food is flavorful, the flavors blend so well and everything is so fresh. Then for desert we enjoyed the sticky rice with mango - the mango was silky and perfectly matched with the rice and coconut cream. Truely a feast. Service is perfect.. Uncle Chai remains a hidden gem in Rancho Mirage.
