Was genuinely shocked to see anyone give this place a bad review. We've been going to this place for years also and the food is consistently excellent, the prices are REALLY low and we literally won't consider getting Mexican food anywhere else. Mi Ranchito doesn’t compare – neither Hemet nor San Jacinto locations. Apparently some reviewers here are only concerned about whether or not they are “full” after one burrito, but don’t care whether they eat here or go to Arby’s. (REALLY? Same thing, huh?) We sometimes get food for out-of-town guests too and they have also been very impressed. Is it possible WE just don't know good Mexican food? Well, I'm from San Diego and my husband is from Pico Rivera. Trust me... we pretty much TEETHED on authentic Mexican food and this place is just about the best in town. My husband is usually the one who picks up the food, but he’s never complained about the service or rudeness of the staff. He HAS mentioned though that they are VERY busy in there (the sign of a good eating establishment,) so that might come across as being unfriendly when they have to keep moving so fast to fill all the orders. If you want someone to stop to chit-chat and see photos of your kids, go to Denny’s.
