I ordered takeout for one person at 5:13 pm and was told the food would be ready in 20 min. I showed up half an hour later. There were 12 people packed like sardines in the waiting area. More people kept coming in and nobody kept track of who arrived first so it was an utter free-for-all. If you didn't cut everyone else ahead of you, odds are you were going to be there for an hour. There was one poor kid seemingly in charge of the entire takeout operation, but he kept disappearing into the back for ten minutes at a time, presumably to escape (honestly can't blame him). Around 6:10 pm, one other employee came to the front, helped one person, then tried to dart away and dodge assisting anyone else. I asked if he could please check on my order. He replied, "I don't know if your order is ready?" in a fairly sassy tone. I asked him to please do his job and check its status to which he responded, and I quote, "you literally make $4 an hour on door dash." I understand the restaurant industry and its employees are facing many difficulties, but this is completely unacceptable. I'm not even a door dash employee, but the sheer disrespect shown by that young man to other food service employees is beyond disrespectful and he should be ashamed of himself. He had an earring and I believe his name was Colten (at least that's what the other employee said). I finally paid for my food and received it at 6:18, over an hour after the order was placed. Of course, it was cold and soggy. What a miserable experience made much worse but an impudent teenager who has no business serving others if he lacks basic respect for other human beings.
