The worst experience ever.got there at 12 pm on a Thursday completely out of pizza no forks got a dr pepper out of syrup had to wait about 25 min before another pizza was fixed . This has happened before . Will not be eating there again

Excellent pizza and even better bread sticks. Just great. (Though Dominoes is also good pizza.) I do wish Pizza Den delivered, though.
I'll be so glad when this place can be open like it used to be.

The pizza is soggy and disgusting, the place just looks nasty and dirty, I've walked in and they were using aresol bug spray around the food. I've given plenty of opportunities for them to impress me and they have failed every time. I used to love this place when I was a kid, but since this other man, who is equally as disgusting as the food, took it over years ago it has gone in the gutter. Last time I tried it one of his daughters was running the dayshift, she was just flat out trashy looking and acting. They seem like shady, nasty people who treat their employees like trash, yelling at them in front of customers, and have no clue how to run a business. I wont try it again unless they go under completely new management and have a major clean up. If you want a great experience, go to the williamson road store. They have friendly staff, awesome food, and I have never been disappointed when I went there.

I worked at Pizza Den years ago LOL and the food was great. Recently on my way through i stopped and ate again. The staff was wonderful and so was the food. And yes, they are better than Pizza Hut or Dominos LOL Try it you will enjoy your stay.

I have been going to the Pizza Den in Salem for 10 to 12 years and am yet to get a bad pizza. I love their dessert pizzas. The staff are very friently and seem to be very attentive to their customers. I highly recommend it.

I love their pizza...love the sauce. Much better than Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Domino's.

My daughter had a bad experience almost 2 years ago. I hadn't been back since even though it is right by my house and I probably would have gotten dozens of pizzas over that time. The other day I decided to try again. I asked for a pizza with chicken on it. The woman who replied, who obviously is not allowed to make a single decision for herself told me, "my boss said we can only put chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza". I told her my whole reason for coming there was to get a chicken pizza. She shrugged and said she couldn't go against what her boss said to do. So - congratulations to her and her boss for sticking to their guns for such an important reason - dumb much? I won't be back. They obviously don't need my dirty, nasty ole money.
Don't get me wrong. I love the Pizza Den pizza. But go to the Roanoke location if you want anything special or someone to care if you have a bad experience.

My wife and I were invited to Pizza Den in Salem. We were hesitating on going after reading the reviews that were on-line which were obviously entered by a disgruntled employee or someone with an ax to grind. The entire restaurant, including the restrooms, was very clean. The employees were courteous and attentive, and the food was very good. I would rate their pizza better than Domino's, Pizza Hut, or Papa John's. I would not say that it was the best pizza, but certainly one of the better ones that I have had from this area.

Actually both Pizza Dens suck. Stay away from them!

Do not go to this location. The pizza is limp, soggy and undercooked. The spaghetti sauce is burnt and crusted over. The owner is an idiot. Go to the Roanoke location. They have a better variety and better quality food.
